Welcome to South Coast Women (“us”, “we”, or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website southcoastwomen.com.au (the “Website”) and any related services provided by us (collectively, the “Services”).

  • Refrain from any behaviour that is harmful, harassing, or disruptive to the community.

We reserve the right to remove any Content or suspend any account that violates these community principles.

Activities and Events

South Coast Women facilitates connections through various activities and events. When participating in these activities and events, you agree to:

  • Adhere to any rules or guidelines set by the event organiser.
  • Take responsibility for your own safety and well-being.
  • Respect the rights and privacy of other participants.

We are not responsible for the conduct of any member or third party involved in these activities and events.

Intellectual Property

The Services and their original Content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of South Coast Women.

Consumer Guarantees and Refunds

If you are a consumer under the Australian Consumer Law, you may have certain rights and remedies with the Services, including guarantees that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified.

These Terms do not attempt to exclude, restrict, or modify those rights and remedies.

If you are not a consumer under the Australian Consumer Law, then to the maximum extent permitted by law, all conditions, warranties, guarantees, rights, remedies, liabilities, and other terms implied or conferred by statute, custom, or general law that impose any liability or obligation on South Coast Women are excluded.

Where you are a consumer under the Australian Consumer Law, and the Services are not of a kind ordinarily acquired for personal, domestic, or household use or consumption, our liability for any breach of a guarantee that cannot be excluded is limited, at our option, to: the supplying of the Services again; or the payment of the cost of having the Services supplied again.

Membership Payments, Refunds and Cancellation

Membership fees are payable in advance and are processed securely through Stripe, a third-party payment processor.

By subscribing to a membership, you acknowledge and agree to Stripe’s terms and conditions, which are available here: https://stripe.com/au/legal/ssa.

South Coast Women does not store or process your payment details directly.

All membership fees are non-refundable.

Once a membership subscription is purchased, no refunds will be provided, regardless of usage or cancellation.

Members may cancel their membership at any time through their account dashboard.

Upon cancellation, access to membership benefits will continue until the end of the current billing cycle. No further charges will be applied after the end of the current billing cycle.

It is the member’s responsibility to correctly cancel the membership, via the dashboard, South Coast Women will not be held responsible for incorrect cancellation.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, South Coast Women shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or liabilities arising from or related to the use of our Services or any interactions with other members.

Subject to clause 7 and to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall South Coast Women, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, suppliers, or licensors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your access to or use of, or your inability to access or use, the Services.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be settled amicably through mutual discussion.

If the dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time in our sole discretion.

If we make material changes to these Terms, we will post the updated Terms on the Website and update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
